New Year, New Beginnings

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Now that the holidays are a thing of the past for 2017, we have a chance to reset our daily clocks and start all over again. This year, I'm pressing reset to rewrite the story of how I plan to serve the people I have grown to know and love. As a Dementia Care Specialist, new beginnings always seem to bring on a burst of excitement that fuels my motivation for growth and building new relationships. For some reason, it gives me energy to know that there's another opportunity out there just waiting for me to get it right.
As the year rolls in, I'm reminded of how precious life is and how rewarding it is just to be in the presence of the residents and families I serve. Sitting here, I can't help but reflect on how grateful I am to have their trust and willingness to be involved supporters of the mission and goal of the Morning Dove Care Home Community.
Since 2014, families and residents have made my purpose for serving their loved ones great and this year is no different. I DECLARE through all that strengthens me that this is going to be a great year for continuing to make residents and families proud. I speak into existence that better is coming and my impact have just begun. The Morning Dove brand and Dementia Speaks Blog will reign in 2018 as my staff and I will continue to fulfill living wishes that help our residents and provide comfort for their families so they know that they made the right choice by choosing the Morning Dove Community. It is still an honor to serve.
